Ingredients
1/2 cup butter softened (1 stick)
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 non-stick baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Put butter and sugar in a large bowl and cream together with a mixer. Add the eggs and mix until combined. Add the milk and vanilla and mix until combined. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until combined.
Pour the batter in a baking dish. Put the vanilla cake in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
